Residency Requirements

The Colorado Constitution, Article XII, Section 13 requires that applicants for state classified government jobs must be residents of Colorado, unless the work to be performed is primarily within 30 miles of the State of Colorado’s border. Occasionally, this requirement is waived for a recruitment to a specific position, not an individual.
