Governor Polis Signs Bills Into Law

DENVER - Today, Governor Polis signed the following bill into law during a ceremony in the Governor’s Office  

• SB24-094 - Safe Housing for Residential Tenants, sponsored by Senators Julie Gonzales and Tony Exum, and Representatives Mandy Lindsay and Meg Froelich. 

Governor Polis also signed the following bipartisan bills into law administratively. 

• HB24-1222 - Update Department of Human Services Terminology, sponsored by Representatives Rose Pugliese and Barbara McLachlan, and Senator Janice Rich. 
• HB24-1309 - Use of Aircraft in Search and Rescue Operations, sponsored by Representatives Rick Taggart and Elizabeth Velasco, and Senators Dylan Roberts and Janice Rich.
• HB24-1392 - Cap Schools in Early High School Graduation Pilot, sponsored by Representatives Shannon Bird and Rick Taggart, and Senators Barbara Kirkmeyer and Jeff Bridges.
