The Governor’s Commission on Community Service presents
the 15th Annual Colorado State Service Conference. The conference
provides training for AmeriCorps members from all streams in the areas
of Service, Community Involvement, and Career Development.
The 2009 Colorado State Service Conference is themed “The Spirit of
AmeriCorps LIFE.” It will be held October 12th and 13th at the YMCA of
the Rockies in Estes Park, CO. 400 participants are expected to attend.
There is no charge for current Colorado AmeriCorps, Senior Corps and
Learn and Serve, and VISTA Members to attend the conference. Lodging on
Monday night is included for all participants. Those traveling more than
3 hours may also be eligible to stay Sunday night as well.
Registration will be open from August 3rd-September 11th. Space is
