Updates:
· InterCorps Council Colorado had its revival debut at the State Service Conference in Estes Park, CO on October 12th-13th, 2009.  National service members had an overwhelming response and a brand new energy was created for ICC.
·  An informational conference call was held on October 29th, 2009.  To receive notes from that call please contact Kelly Hiznay, Colorado State VISTA Program Leader, at kelly.hiznay@state.co.us.
·  Following the conference call, a questionnaire was sent out to give national service members the chance to weigh in and answer that most important question: “What is the most important thing ICC can do for you?”
· Over 30 questionnaires have been completed and returned as of November 5th with members expressing an excited interest over what ICC has the potential to become.
· If you would like to receive a copy of the questionnaire please contact Kelly Hiznay, Colorado State VISTA Program Leader, at kelly.hiznay@state.co.us.

Next Steps:
·Results from the “post-conference call questionnaire” are currently being compiled and a planning committee is being put together.
· ICC is currently recruiting for their planning committee that will be examining and reestablishing ICC from the ground up.  Would you like to be part of the ICC Planning Committee?  If so, please contact Kelly Hiznay, Colorado State VISTA Program Leader, at kelly.hiznay@state.co.us.

History:
• InterCorps Council Colorado is not a new idea. In fact, there are InterCorps Councils in existance across the country. Each state that hosts national service programs is encouraged to have an InterCorps Council.
• The InterCorps Council Colorado was first assembled in 1998. Despite many accomplishments and efforts to create sustainability, ICC has faded in and out over the years.
• In the eleventh year since its first creation, we hope to revive and establish a permanent spot for InterCorps Council Colorado among national service members serving past and present in the state of Colorado.
