What do AmeriCorps Members Do?AmeriCorps members sign up to serve a one year “term of service “ in a national, state, or local nonprofit organization. AmeriCorps members address community needs in four areas: education, public safety, human services and the environment. Here are some of the types of service AmeriCorps members perform:
