Gas & Electric Demand Side Management

Thanks to the passage of House Bill 1037, Colorado now has a new opportunity to become a national leader in energy efficiency. Colorado’s investor-owned local distribution companies utilities, including Public Service Company of Colorado and Aquila, are now mandated to do much more efficiency—known in utility terms as ”Demand Side Management.” In addition, many municipal and rural electric utilities are creating new ways to be more responsive to both their customers' needs and operational needs for increased efficiency.
