Connecting Colorado's Renewable Resources to the Markets

The Governor's Energy Office took the lead on ensure the professional implementation of Senate Bill 07-91, "Mapping Renewable Energy Resources in Colorado". A 16- member Task Force, appointed by the Governor, the Speaker of the House, and the President of the Senate was formed. Senate Bill 91 set up a procedure for appointing 16 individuals to a task force to create maps of opportunities for Renewable Resource Generation Development Areas. The result of this work, a report entitled "Connecting Colorado's Renewable Resources to the Markets", has been published and can be found in the Publications section of this website. The report has also been submitted to the Legislature and the Governor's Office. The report will help communities and businesses take part in the New Energy Economy.
