Advanced Technology Fund
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) manages grant monies from the Advanced Technology Fund. Interested parties are encouraged to visit CDPHE's website for more information.

Anaerobic Digestion Feasibility
GEO understands that the first step to a successful Anaerobic Digestion (AD) project is a thorough feasibility study. As a result, GEO will partner with facilities or farm owners and anaerobic digester experts in supporting the costs of a feasibility study. To learn more about the program visit the AD section of this website. Interested parties are invited to submit an Anaerobic Digestion Feasibility interest form ( 114 KB).

Clean Energy Fund - New Energy Economy Development (NEED) Program
The 2007 Colorado Legislature provided funding to GEO for the purpose of creating the Clean Energy Fund.  The Clean Energy Fund will provide revenue to advance energy efficiency and renewable energy throughout the state of Colorado through the NEED grant program. Check back here for announcements about future funding cycles.

Clean Energy Fund - Solar Innovation Grant (SIG) Program
The Clean Energy Fund Solar Innovation Grant (SIG) will support innovative programs that can demonstrate a strategy and implementation plan for breaking down financial, educational, political, and technical barriers to greater penetration of solar electric and solar thermal technologies in the residential and commercial sectors. Approximately three hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($350,000) is available during this competitive cycle. Individual awards will not exceed $50,000. Completed applications for the most recent funding cycle were due on April 30th by 5 p.m. Check back here for announcements about future funding cycles.

Colorado Carbon Fund
GEO's Colorado Carbon Fund program is currently accepting carbon offset project ideas. To learn more about the Colorado Carbon Fund, visit the program's section of this website. Parties that would like to communicate a project for partnership consideration are invited to submit a Colorado Carbon Fund Program Interest Form (PDF Icon 79 KB).

Community Woody Biomass for Thermal Usage Program
GEO is currently seeking partners that are interested in promoting and developing community-scale bio-heating projects in Colorado. Learn more in the program's section of this website. Interested parties are invited to submit a Community Woody Biomass for Thermal Usage Program Interest Form ( 216 KB).

ENERGY STAR® New Homes Program
GEO has launched its Colorado ENERGY STAR® New Homes Program. Read more about the program on the ENERGY STAR® New Homes page. The grant request period for this program is now closed.

Event Support
GEO is proud to support Colorado renewable energy and energy efficiency events and organizations. Interested parties are invited to submit an Event Support application ( 107 KB) for GEO's consideration.

Geothermal Development Request for Information
GEO has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to gain an understanding of the potential for geothermal projects in the state and the resources needed to assist developers of projects. The complete Geothermal Development Request for Information can be found here ( 38 KB). **Please note that the official deadline for this RFI was March 14th, however GEO will still accept submissions until further notice.**

High Performance Design Program
GEO is currently seeking partners that are interested in High Performance Design options for commercial buildings. Learn more about High Performance Design in the program's section on this website. Interested parties are invited to submit a High Performance Design program partnership interest form ( 96 KB). **If you are a representative of a K-12 School, please use the "K-12 Schools Program form found below instead of this one.**

Income-Based Energy Programs: Energy $aving Partners
GEO is currently seeking cities and/or counties that are interested in participating in energy efficiency programs for income-eligible residents. Interested parties are invited to submit an Income-Based Energy Programs: Energy $aving Partners program interest form ( 108 KB).

Insulate Colorado Program
GEO has launched its Insulate Colorado Program. Read more about the program on the Insulate Colorado page. Insulate Colorado is now accepting matching grant applications from city and county partners that are interested in offering rebates directly to qualifying homeowners for the installation of insulation and air sealing measures. K - 12 Schools Program
GEO is currently seeking schools that are interested in partnering to make energy improvements in existing K-12 school buildings, as well as building new high performance schools. Read more about GEO's schools programs in the For Schools section of this website. Interested parties are invited to submit a K- 12 Schools program partnership interest form ( 100 KB).

Performance Contracting Program
GEO is currently seeking partners that are interested in Performance Contracting options for commercial buildings. Learn more about Performance Contracting in the program's section on this website. Renewables in Performance Contracting Grant
The purpose of the Renewables in Performance Contracting Grant is to reduce the cost of incorporating renewable energy into a performance contract to the extent that the system fits within an acceptable payback period for the entire project. Additionally, this incentive is designed to promote renewable technology after, or in conjunction with, energy efficiency upgrades. Residential Solar Program
The grant request period for this program has closed and GEO is currently finalizing funding partnerships for the pilot program. However, interested parties are invited to submit a Residential Solar Program partnership interest form ( 91 KB). These will be kept on file and interested parties will be contacted if the program funding is extended or renewed in the future. *HOMEOWNERS - please note that this program is not a direct homeowner rebate.
