The Governor's Biofuels Coalition

GBC Logo

The Governor's Biofuels Coalition (GBC) represents Colorado organizations, businesses, government agencies, environmental groups and others that are involved in the production, distribution, promotion and usage of biodiesel and ethanol. These entities are working together to overcome market barriers and to raise awareness for existing flex-fuel and diesel vehicle drivers of these alternative fuel options.

The GBC aims to educate Colorado’s almost 300,000 vehicle owners to the benefits and availability of E-85 and biodiesel. Additionally, the GBC wants to maximize the number of installations of E85 and biodiesel pumping facilities within Colorado by furnishing funds that will go directly for equipment and educational/learning materials. Please refer to this website's sections on ethanol and biodiesel for further information about biofuels.

In addition to the information found in this section, you can also find a biofuels station near you by visiting the U.S. Department of Energy's Alternative & Advanced Fuels website or by downloading a copy of the GBC's station location brochure here (PDF 186 KB).
