What it Means
In an ongoing effort to keep Colorado residents up to date and informed regarding changes and additions to efficiency, environmental, and energy policy within the state, the Governor's Energy Office (GEO) has established this educationalsection to help residents interpret laws and legislation.
The GEO is working with citizens, businesses and governmental agencies to create comprehensive web resources to meet your needs. We will continually update and add to these resources as laws are passed and amended. The GEO hopes to inform Coloradoans about pertinent legal issues regarding efficiency, energy and environmental policy and mitigate the confusion that can arise from a lack of information. This information includes general guidelines and are not intended for specific residential or commercial property owners, homeowners' associations or organizations.
