High Performance Building Program Partnership Application
The Governor’s Energy Office (GEO) High Performance Building program seeks to develop partnerships with eligible projects to support efforts to plan, fund, design, construct and operate energy efficient, high performance buildings.
To be a partner and receive the services of the High Performance Building Program, the project must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- The facility must be owned by a public entity, including, but not limited to, a school district, county, municipality or state agency.
- In order to capture the most opportunities for energy efficiency the project must not be past the Schematic Design (SD) phase.
The GEO has a limited capacity to provide technical assistance and therefore prioritizes its services in the following ways:
- Priority is given to state-funded projects required to meet the Colorado Office of the State Architect’s High Performance Certification Program (HPCP) policy.
- Priority is given to projects that are in early planning phases.
- Projects not required to meet the HPCP are still eligible for complete services based on GEO program funding availability.
