Prior
to
being
appointed
as
the
Director
for
the
Board,
Kristin
served
as
an Administrative
Law
Judge
with
the
Board
since
September
2000.
During
that
time
she
handled
administrative
hearings
and
served
as a
mediator.
Prior
to
joining
the
Board,
Kristin
was
an
Assistant
Attorney
General
in
the
Colorado
Attorney
General's
office
in
the
Business
and
Licensing
Section,
where
she
was
General
Counsel
to
the
State
Personnel
Board,
the
State
Boards
of
Accountancy
and
Barbers
and
Cosmetologists
and
served
as
trial
counsel
for
the
Administrator
of
the
Uniform
Consumer
Credit
Code
and
the
Collection
Agency
Board.
In
the
community,
she
serves
on
the
Board
for
Continuing
Legal
Education
in
Colorado,
and
volunteers
at
Academia
Ana
Marie
Sandoval.
She
is a
past
Co-Chair
of
Denver’s
Career
Service
Board,
a
member
of
Denver’s
New
Human
Resource
Commission
and
a
board
member
of
the
Colorado
Women's
Bar
Association.
Kristin
received
her
law
degree
from
the
University
of
Colorado
School
of
Law
in
Boulder
in
1994
and
graduated
Magna
cum
Laude
with
a
Bachelor
of
Arts
in
Social
Work
from
Colorado
State
University
in
Ft.
Collins
in
1983.
After
law
school,
she
clerked
for
the
Honorable
Cheryl
Post
in
the
Eighteenth
Judicial
District.
She
is
the
recipient
of
CU
Law
School’s
2004
Alumni
Award
for
Distinguished
Achievement.
