Statewide Citrix Users Group
The Department of
Personnel and Administration is interested in partnering with state
agencies, higher education institutions, and local governments to
participate in a Statewide Citrix Users Group. As a group we can
leverage buying power to achieve competitive pricing on licensing
and hardware, realize savings from a pooled licensing model, and
create a network of knowledgeable IT professionals to share
experiences and work through technical challenges together.
Our first meeting was
held on July 10th, 2007. We had 29 attendees representing nine
different state departments and one local government agency. Each
meeting will be approximately two hours in length. Meetings consist
of technical presentations that are designed to be educational, not
a sales pitch. Part of each meeting will be dedicated to questions
or discussion about technical issues currently being faced by
members.
