E X E C U T I V E O R D E R

REDESIGNATION OF SERVICE DELIVERY AREA UNDER THE JOB TRAINING PARTNERSHIP ACT

WHEREAS, pursuant to the Job Training Partnership Act of 1982, Public Law 97-300 (JTPA), the Governor must publish a proposed designation of JTPA service delivery areas (SDA) for the state; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Executive Orders D 0010 83, dated April 1, 1983 and modified by D 0004 93, dated March 29, 1993, nine SDAs under the JTPA have been designated for the state; and
WHEREAS, Teller county is currently part of the single rural SDA, known as "balance of state" or the Rural Job Training SDA; and

NOW THEREFORE, I Roy Romer, Governor of the State of Colorado, under the authority vested in me by the laws and the Constitution of the State of Colorado, DO HEREBY ORDER THAT:

  1. Teller county is designated as a part of, and incorporated into the El Paso service Delivery area, for purposes of the Job Training Partnership Act of 1982, Public Law 97-300, as amended.
  2. Designation shall be effective July 1, 1998.
  3. GIVEN under my hand and the
    Executive Seal of the State of Colorado
