The cornerstone for this New Raymer school was laid on September 15, 1915. School began in the fall of 1916 and in May of 1918, it saw its first graduates. The school existed until 1965. It was sold at auction in 1967 and donated to a church that tore it down to use the bricks to build a new church. The building on the left is the old school house (identified by the three windows on the side.)
