Logan's Memorial Day Order Plaque

This plaque on the main west entrance is a reproduction of General John A. Logan's General Order Eleven designating May 30 as Memorial Day on May 5, 1868. The Woman's Relief Corps, Department of Colorado and Wyoming, Auxiliary to the Grand Army of the Republic presented this plaque to the citizens of Colorado in 1927.
