(DENVER) - Gov. Bill Owens today announced two appointments to the Board of Directors for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. Owens appointed Joel S. Rosenstein of Denver and Eric C. Moore of Aurora.
"The Colorado Housing and Finance Authority constantly strives to meet the mounting demands for affordable housing and economic growth opportunities," said Owens. "I have confidence that both appointees will provide strong leadership to the CHFA board."
Joel Rosenstein received a law degree from George Washington National Law Center and was admitted to the Colorado Bar in 1997. He is currently an associate at Senn Lewis & Visciano, P.C, and serves as lead attorney in areas of real estate, real estate finance and general business transactions.
Eric Moore is the chief information officer for Arapahoe-Denver Mental Health Network where he manages the information services and technology department for multi-location metro area mental health network. He was previously a reverse mortgage specialist for WestAmerica Mortgage Company and a loan operation specialist for Sears Mortgage Corp.
The Board of Directors serves as the governing board of the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. Through its financing programs, the Authority works to increase the availability of affordable housing for low- and moderate-income families and to assist the state's small businesses. The board consists of 11 members, nine that are appointed by the Governor. Terms are four years in length and appointees require confirmation by the Senate.
