OWENS RELEASES STATEMENT FOLLOWING NOMINATION OF
DONETTA DAVIDSON TO FEDERAL ELECTION ASSISTANCE COMMISSION

(DENVER) - "President Bush has made a wise choice with his nomination of Donetta Davidson. She has done a terrific job in her service to the people of Colorado and I have no doubt she will be a tremendous asset to our nation's Election Assistance Commission. We had recommended Donetta for this federal appointment and I am pleased to learn she has been nominated," said Governor Bill Owens.
