OWENS ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF BACHICHA TO
ADAMS STATE COLLEGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

(DENVER) - Gov. Bill Owens announces the appointment Timothy D. Bachicha to the Board of Trustees for Adams State College.

"Adams State College offers more recognized Academic Programs of Excellence than any other school its size in Colorado. The Board of Trustees plays a critical role in overseeing the college's activities. I am confident that Timothy Bachicha will offer positive and constructive guidance as the Board continues to effectively lead the college," Owens said.

Bachicha is a Certified Public Accountant, who received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Adams State. He is the Vice Chair and CPA representative to the Colorado Lottery Board of Commissioners and a past a member of the Governor's Office of Economic Development.

The Board of Trustees makes policy for Adams State College and oversees its operation. Appointees must be confirmed by the state Senate. There are 11 members, nine appointed by the Governor, who serve terms of four years.
