OWENS ANNOUNCES APPOINTEE TO THE PINNACOL ASSURANCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
(DENVER) - Gov. Bill Owens today announced the appointment of Bonnie Dean of Greeley to the Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors.
"Pinnacol Assurance is Colorado's largest and oldest provider of workers' compensation insurance. It's goal today is the same as it was when it began operating in 1915, to protect Colorado employers and their employees," said Owens. "I have no doubt that Bonnie Dean will translate her extensive leadership experience into noticeable progress for this board."
Dean graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Business. She has served on numerous boards, and currently serves as chairperson of the board of directors for the Mountain States Better Business Bureau. Dean is owner and president of Bonnie Dean Associates, a marketing communications firm.
The Pinnacol Assurance Board of Directors promulgates rules and regulations pertaining to the operation and administration of the Colorado Compensation Insurance Authority Fund. The board consists of seven members, each of whom serve five-year terms. Appointees must be confirmed by the State Senate.
