OWENS APPOINTS BRETT SIEGEL TO THE COLORADO STUDENT OBLIGATION BOND AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS
DENVER – Governor Bill Owens recently appointed Brett Alan Siegel of Englewood to the Colorado Student Obligation Bond Authority Board of Directors for a term expiring July 2003.
Brett Siegel is a manager of financial planning and sales for Merrill Lynch. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
The Colorado Student Obligation Bond Authority Board of Directors is comprised of nine members who serve four-year terms and need Senate confirmation. The authority creates or purchases student obligations, loans and administers a prepaid post-secondary education expense program. Proceeds are invested through the State Treasurer’s Office.
