OWENS APPOINTS JOHN M. BRAMBLE TO THE FIRE AND POLICE PENSION ASSOCIATION
DENVER – Governor Bill Owens appointed John M. Bramble of Brighton to serve on the Fire and Police Pension Association.
John Bramble serves as city manager for the City of Brighton. He served as the county administrator for Adams County from 1993 to 1996 and as city manger for the City of Pueblo from 1984 to 1987. Bramble served as president of the Metro City and County Management Association in 1983 and 1999 and on the board for the Colorado Municipal League from 1982 to 1983. He received his master’s degree from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
The Fire and Police Pension Association is comprised of nine members who serve four-year terms and require Senate confirmation. The association is a local governmental unit that administers a statewide pension plan for full-time police officers and firefighters.
