OWENS APPOINTS JACQUELYN WILLIS TO THE COLORADO LOTTERY COMMISSION
DENVER – Governor Bill Owens appointed Jacquelyn J. Willis of Denver to serve on the Colorado Lottery Commission for a term expiring July 2004.
Jacquelyn Willis will serve as a member representing the public. She is currently the human resource manager for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority. Willis has served on the board of CHFA and also served as president-elect for the Northern Colorado Women’s Center. Willis received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas.
The Colorado Lottery Commission is comprised of five members who serve four-year terms and need Senate confirmation. The commission governs the operation of the lottery and conducts hearings on granting or suspending of licenses for lottery sales.
