OWENS APPOINTS ARTHUR V. GALLEGOS TO THE BOARD OF REAL ESTATE APPRAISERS
DENVER – Gov. Bill Owens appointed Arthur V. Gallegos of Colorado Springs to the Board of Real Estate Appraisers for a term expiring on July 1, 2000.
Arthur V. Gallegos will serve as a public member. Gallegos owns and operates the Gallegos Land and Cattle Ranch in Peyton, Colorado and is an executive board member of the Colorado Migrant and Rural Coalition, Inc. He has served on the Latin American Education Foundation and the Cattlemen’s Association.
The Board of Real Estate Appraisers sets fees for those seeking a real estate appraisers license, administers tests and disciplines licensees for misconduct.
The board consists of seven members who serve three-year terms and need Senate confirmation.
