OWENS APPOINTED MICHAEL MCARDLE TO JUVENILE PAROLE BOARD
DENVER – Governor Bill Owens appointed Michael J. McArdle of Westminster to serve on the Juvenile Parole Board as a representative of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
Michael McArdle is a labor standards administrator for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. McArdle served as the vice president of government affairs for the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry from 1991 to 1999. During that same time, he also served as executive director for the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Executives. McArdle received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
The Juvenile Parole Board grants, defers, suspends or revokes all paroles of children; releases children from parole before expiration period of two years; revokes or modifies any previous orders; and forms hearing panels to review records.
The board consists of seven members who serve at the pleasure of the Governor and need Senate confirmation
