OWENS APPOINTS J. WILLIAM SECCOMBE TO COLORADO COUNCIL ON THE ARTS
DENVER – Governor Bill Owens appointed J.William Seccombe of Denver to serve on the Colorado Council on the Arts.
William Seccombe is vice president of PRACO, Ltd. and serves on the board of directors for the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts. Seccombe has served on the Colorado Tourism Board and the National Western Association. He received his bachelor’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Texas.
Members of the Colorado Council on the Arts broadly represent the major fields of the arts and humanities, and are private citizens widely known for their competence and experience in connection with the arts and humanities, as well as knowledge of community and State interests. The council is responsible for accepting gifts, donations and bequests involving the arts and humanities.
