OWENS TO LAUNCH COLORADO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Key Leaders, Significant Funding To Be Announced

 DENVER -- Governor Bill Owens will hold a news conference Wednesday, March 8 at 10:45 AM to announce the official launch of the Colorado Institute of Technology. The news conference will take place at the downtown Denver Hyatt Regency, 555 17th St., Gray’s Peak Room.

Joining Governor Owens will be the Colorado Institute of Technology’s new President and Chancellor (to be announced), several presidents of Colorado’s institutes of higher education, Secretary of Technology Marc Holtzman, Executive Director of the Colorado Commission of Higher Education Tim Foster, as well as founding corporate sponsors and contributors (among those attending and participating in the news conference will be Qwest CEO Joe Nacchio).
