Colorado State Archives
Preserving Colorado's Legal and Historical Records and
Promoting their Use by the Citizens of the World

The Colorado State Archives is managed by Terry Ketelsen

Search the Historical Records Database by Name, County, Time Span or Record Type (Over 878,000 entries and growing including now 66,000 business incorporations from 1861-1914).  More indexes are being entered often!

We have a growing Digital Archives site which includes scanned copies of many original documents. Our latest additions are documents concerning the "Ludlow Massacre" in 1914 when striking miners and their families were attacked by the militia. Look under the mining tab on that site.

Family History Site. We have millions of records that document people and places.
