(New, separate premiums for
employee and spouse for FY09 - please see "Insurance
Premiums" below, under "Related Links," to view new FY09
premiums.)
The State-paid Basic Life and Accidental Death and
Dismemberment (AD&D) life insurance coverage amount is a function of your annual salary. The amount
is 1x your base salary, but cannot be lower than
$33,000, or higher than $40,000. For employees on leave
of absence, any increased benefit will not become
effective until the employee has worked one day.
Additionally, you may apply for Optional Life and AD&D
(Accidental Death and Dismemberment) coverage. Coverage
is provided by the Standard Insurance Company. Use the
links below to find out more about the plans and their
rules.
