-
Coverage
for active, State employees, and/or their dependents,
continues through the end of the month in which the
COBRA qualifying event occurs (termination,
retirement, divorce, etc.). The COBRA
eligibility period begins on the first of the month
following the end of active employee
coverage.
-
Your
COBRA coverage will become effective once your first
premium is paid. Coverage will then be
retroactive to your initial COBRA eligibility date,
provided your enrollment form was timely.
