As of 11/2/09,
contractors are no longer required to be qualified and
registered with State Buildings Programs, Office of the
State Architect for two business days prior to the
opening of sealed bids for construction projects greater
than $150,000. |

Last week the Office of
the State Architect updated several contracts (Architect/Engineer
Agreement SC-5.1; Architect/Engineer Agreement CMGC SC-5.2;
Consultant Agreement SC-5.3; CMGC Agreement SC-6.4; Contractor’s
Agreement D/B/B SC-6.21 (also updated the template on CMS); General
Conditions of the Contract SC-6.23; and the Work Authorization
SC-5.1A-WA) to align with the new Contract Management System (CMS),
Sole Source Requirements, updated Insurance language and additional
general updates. |
