Numerous minor revision and reference corrections have been included in this update allowing for consistency with the General Conditions of the Construction Contract Design/Bid/Build Standard Format SC the following notes summarize the significant changes.

  • All references to "State Buildings and Real Estate Programs "have been changed to "State Buildings Programs".

  • Table of Contents, the list of Exhibits have been incorporated into ARTICLE 2. DEFINITIONS, Paragraph 2.1.6 Contract Documents and the Contract Documents list has been revised and renumbered to include: .26 Exhibit I.11. Notice of Substantial Completion (Form SBP-07)_, .27 Exhibit I.12 Notice of Approval of Occupancy/Use (Form SBP-01) and .31 Exhibit N Sales and Use Tax Form.

  • First Paragraph Page 1 PARTIES, made date is no longer required.

  • ARTICLE 10 CHANGES IN THE WORK Paragraph 10.2.4 language has been added to define the requirements for the "value of extra work or changed work not known" .1 -.8.

  • ARTICLE 11 INSURANCE language has been revised to include updates to all insurance requirements Paragraphs 11.1 – 11.9.

  • ARTICLE 16. RIGHT OF EARLY OCCUPANCY Paragraph 16.2 language has been revised to require Construction Manager to assist Principal Representative in completion and execution of Form SBP-01 Approval Of Occupancy/Use.

  • ARTICLE 17 COMPLETION, FINAL INSPECTIONS, ACCEPTANCE AND SETTLEMENT Paragraphs 17.1 – 17.4 have been revised to include the requirements for "Substantial completion".

  • ARTICLE 17 COMPLETION, FINAL INSPECTIONS, ACCEPTANCE AND SETTLEMENT Paragraphs 17.5.1 – 17.5.4 SETTLEMENT language has been revised and expanded to reflect current requirements for claims and final payment.

  • ARTICLE 11 MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS, Language has been updated to align with the updated Special Provision per Office of the State Controller requirement 1-1-09.

22. (Request for Proposals for an Integrated Project Delivery Method CM/GC IPD CMGC RFP)

  • Cost proposal from CM/GC fee has been broken down into four lines (two for General Conditions) to align with the revised CM/GC Agreement.

  • Final Ranking Matrix has had a column added for Average Qualification Score and the related Notes narrative has been revised to demonstrate the use of the qualification scoring formula.
