  • USPS Export Regulations/International Mail Acceptance Processes to Change Immediately

To ensure compliance with federal export regulations, the United States Postal Service will be updating international mail acceptance practices.

As of May 21, 2012, the Postal Service will require customers to prepare Customs declarations electronically, using Click-N-Ship, an authorized PC Postage vendor or USPS Web Tools, for all international mail and all mail requiring a customs form. International mail with a customs declaration that has not been completed electronically can only be accepted at USPS retail service counters, where retail associates will then enter the information electronically.

USPS Manuals and Publications will be updated with this information as of May 21, 2012.  webapps.usps.com/customsforms/
