Payport Fees and Payment Processing
Each transaction conducted on the PayPort system is subject to the following agreed-upon usage fees:
Portal Administration Fee = Transaction Amount x 2.7%
Statutory fees collected through the PayPort application will be transferred from Colorado.gov to the designated county account three business days following the transaction date. Further details are included in the PayPort training program.
The administrative fee will be collected by Colorado.gov. The fee covers the credit card processing fees charged by Visa, Mastercard, and American Express; as well as direct and indirect costs (overhead) absorbed by Colorado Interactive to provide portal services. Such costs include but are not limited to personnel costs, office space, equipment, telecommunications and computing infrastructure, utilities costs, banking costs, human resources, and office supplies.
