To become an IRP member the following documents are required for IRP apportioned registration:

• Complete the Colorado International Registration Plan Application
• Instructions on how to fill out IRP Application
• Complete Colorado Registration/Ownership Tax Receipt
• Current out-of-state registration in the owner's name
• If the registrant is not the owner, send a copy of the lease agreement to Motor Carrier Services (MCS)
• Provide a copy of Heavy Vehicle Use Tax (HVUT) Form 2290 at the  IRS Website  for vehicles 55,000 Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) or higher
• Provide proof of emissions if applicable.
• Established Place of Business/Residency Requirements
