  • 3 - 6' tall; perennial.
  • Blooms June to August.
  • Flowers single, 1/2 - 1".
  • Stems covered in soft hairs.
  • Seeds with white silky tuft in long seedpod.
  • Leaves 1/2" wide, 2 - 4" long, opposite, lance-shaped with toothed edges; attached directly to stem.
  • Numerous native species have been found in CO wetlands.
