Tree Lighting Ceremony

Join us in Estes Park as we light up the season, with the 2nd Annual Estes Park Tree Lighting Ceremony. Last year's ceremony in Bond Park marked the start of a new Estes Park tradition. This tradition will continue this year on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in Riverside Plaza.

Visitors are welcome to decorate a stocking, enjoy sweet treats and hot chocolate, radio flyer wagon rides and an early visit from Santa Claus. Various holiday arts and craft vendors will be on display, offering a jump start to your holiday shopping.The anticipated lighting of the live tree, starts promptly at 5:30pm! Join us after for community sing-alongs and a celebration of the holiday season.

New this year, the Town of Estes Park is inviting businesses to participate in a Christmas/holiday storefront and window-decorating contest. If you are an interested business, please contact our office to register, no later than October 29. There is no entry fee. Judges will visit participating businesses the week of Nov. 12, and the winning businesses will be announced during the Nov. 17 Tree Lighting Ceremony

If you or your business would like to participate as a non-profit, commercial or food vendor, please complete the vendor application. There are no associated fees, and all vendors are welcome to participate. Please submit an application, to the Events Department, no later than November 9, 2012.
