Welcome to the 2014 Estes Park Elk Fest!  October in Estes Park is now known as "Elktober". Join us as we transition into fall and celebrate all of Estes Park's natural beauty and wildlife. Elk Fest is the perfect opportunity for an up close wildlife experience and fun for all ages. Please see below for event details, bugling registration and general event information. Elk Fest Kid’s Corral: Join us for an “elk dud” scavenger hunt, crafts, face painting and educational fun! The Corral is open both Saturday and Sunday from 11-4pm.


The Whallowing Hole: Need a refreshment? Join us for a unique Estes Park  brew; Staggering Elk Lager or Samson Stout. Purchase our commemorative mug and refill throughout the day from 11-4pm both Saturday and Sunday.


Live Entertainment- Giddy Up Kitty: Help us welcome this contemporary country-grass music with a sweet southern flavor! Join us at the stage on Saturday, October 4th from 12:30-2:30pm.


Elk Fest also features bugling competitions, educational areas, seminars, Native American storytelling & music, a display of raptors, and guided elk-viewing tours. On site we will be offering a variety of vendors offering memorable souvenirs of your time at Elk Fest. Food vendors will be on site as well offering plenty of choices!


The event is FREE, but Elk-viewing bus tour tickets will be available to purchase. They are not sold in advance, but will be available downtown in Bond Park on Saturday & Sunday, October 4th and 5th. Bus tours are one hour long, and will depart from Bond Park. Tickets are $5 per person (CASH ONLY), ages 5 and up.
