The Estes Valley Restorative Justice Partnership was created in 2001 as a joint venture between the Town of Estes Park Police Department and a 501c3, non-profit, community based organization created as the Estes Valley Restorative Justice Partnership. The vision is to provide restorative justice services throughout the Estes Valley with the responsibilities divided between police administration and the 501c3 Board of Directors. The Police Chief oversees daily operations and decisions made by the Community Services Manager and that position is considered on loan to the 501c3 Board of Directors as their Executive Director. The 501c3 Board of Directors is responsible for program development and enhancement. The partnership provides the community with a high level of transparency and input to both operations and development.
