The Town of Estes Park's Park Division is responsible for the maintenance, renovation and management of all Town-owned park land. Each year the Park's Division plants more than 38,000 annual flowers planted in addition to 8,000 perennial flowers while maintaining it's own greenhouse, 10 acres of turf, 32 irrigation systems, 53 flower beds and 7 bronze statues. The Park's staff cares for the Estes Park Area Historical Museum property, Stanley Park Fairgrounds, Light & Power Building grounds, open spaces, and the downtown area. Park's staff also handles the trash and recycling at Town-sponsored special events and assists in snow removal during winter & spring months.
The Parks Department crew consists of five full-time employees and approximately 15 seasonal workers.
