Common Income Tax Filing Errors

The Colorado Department of Revenue has updated its income tax accounting system. The system is in place for tax returns filed beginning September 2009. The system will stop processing a filing until all the necessary pieces of information are included with a return. Taxpayers will receive letters that information is missing and must be submitted before processing will continue.
