Benefits for Adults without Dependent Children
Medicaid is accepting applications from low-income adults without dependent children (AwDC).
To be eligible for the program you must:
- Earn approximately $95 or less a month for a single adult ($129 for a married couple)
NOTE: Some earned income is not counted in determining eligibility.
- Be ages 19-64
- Not already have Medicare or Medicaid
AwDC enrollment is limited and there is currently a waitlist. However, individuals who are on the waitlist will be randomly selected for enrollment on a monthly basis if there is availability.
