GOV. RITTER APPOINTS NEW AIR QUALITY, STADIUM DISTRICT MEMBERS

Gov. Bill Ritter today announced the appointments of new members to the Regional Air Quality Council and the Denver Metropolitan Major League Stadium District Board of Directors.

Appointed to the Regional Air Quality Council for terms expiring at the pleasure of the Governor:

 

The appointments do not require Senate approval. The Regional Air Quality Council is the lead agency for air quality planning, with the responsibility to prepare air quality plans for the Denver metro region, to demonstrate and ensure long-term compliance with federal air quality standards.

Appointed to the Denver Metropolitan Major League Stadium District Board of Directors for terms expiring Aug. 1, 2013:

The appointments require Senate confirmation. The seven-member board governs all matters concerning the stadium district.
