DENVER — Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced several Boards and Commissions appointments today. The appointments were to the Early Child Leadership Commission and the Public Employees’ Retirement Benefit Plans (PERA) Board of Trustees.
The Early Childhood Leadership Commission seeks to improve outcomes for young children ages birth to 8 and their families by advancing the alignment, coordination and efficiency of programs and services. Colorado’s network of 30 local early childhood councils serves 55 counties by collaboratively planning, networking, developing resources and implementing early childhood initiatives within communities.The member appointed for a term expiring at the pleasure of the Governor:
