DENVER — Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced several Boards and Commissions appointments today. The appointments were to the Board of Real Estate Appraisers; the Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit; the Mental Health Advisory Board for Service Standards and Regulations; the School Safety Resource Center Advisory Board; and the State Board of Veterinary Medicine.
The Board of Real Estate Appraisers sets fees for those seeking a real estate appraisers license, administers tests and disciplines licensees for misconduct.The appointments must be confirmed by the Colorado Senate. The member appointed for a term expiring July 1, 2014:

The Council of Advisors on Consumer Credit advises and consults with the assistant attorney general concerning the Attorney General’s powers under the consumer credit code. The members appointed for terms expiring Sept. 30, 2015:
The Mental Health Advisory Board for Service Standards and Regulations recommends standards and regulations for the programs of mental health services in any healthcare facility that has separate facilities for mental health care, or those health care facilities that have as their only purpose the treatment and care of mental illness. The School Safety Resource Center Advisory Board advises and recommends policies concerning the newly-created School Safety Resource Center.
