Colorado State Government offices in Denver area will open late Tuesday due to winter storm

Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced today Colorado State Government offices in the Denver metro area will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, due to the extreme weather conditions. The metro area includes Denver and surrounding suburban counties.

State facilities essential to the health and safety of the public will maintain regular operating schedules and “essential personnel” must report to work.
