Rules and Regulations Governing General Services Proceedings
The Office conducts hearings for a wide variety of state agencies. It has General Rules of Procedure which govern many of these hearings, primarily in the area of professional and occupational licensing. In addition, several state agencies have adopted rules governing the handling of their particular matters.
Further guidance regarding the conduct of hearings is found in the OAC Policies that provide additional guidance regarding how the Office conducts business. In addition, many individuals appear in cases before the Office without attorneys.
