The IDS Multifunction Printer (MFP) Program (formerly the Copier Program) provides quality all-in-one office machines that incorporate functionality of multiple devices, with combinations of the following features: printer, scanner, photocopier, fax and, e-mail, to metro-area state agencies at a reasonable price. Through the combined, shared usage of these MFPs, state agencies have a variety of equipment available to them to meet all their copying needs, as well as supplies and paper. As a result, the program offers a greater variety of service and a better quality copy than that of any comparable private, federal, or state program studied, and at a cost of 30 to 60 percent less!
