Colorado Rebuilds: Fire Adapted Communities

For Coloradans affected by this summer's wildfires, and who must repair or rebuild their homes, this program helps educate homeowners on the advantages of building a fire-adapted home. The Colorado Division of Insurance is a partner in this effort.

Have you done a home inventory yet?
The Division of Insurance recommends everyone, whether living in an apartment, condo, townhouse or home, to do a home inventory. One of the most common complaints after a fire is the amount of time it takes to remember and recall all of a home's contents. This inventory, along with photos of your contents, will give you a leg up when filing an insurance claim.
