Voter Information

Voter Registration

Requirements to register to vote:

  • United States Citizen
  • At least 18 years of age on or before Election Day
  • A resident of your precinct at least 30 days prior to the next election and consider this your sole legal place or residence.
  • Must register 29 days prior to voting in any election.
  • Choose to "affiliate" with a recognized party of the State of Colorado or choose to be "unaffiliated".

Mail-in forms are available at any of the above locations.

 

Changes in name or address:

Changes in name or address or additional new information can be made to your voter registration by choosing one of the following:

  • Appearing In person at one of the above offices.
  • Completing, signing, and returning a mail-in-voter registration form with new information tot he County Clerk's Office.

Mail-in Ballots

If you cannot make it to the polls to vote on Election Day, you may vote in one of the following ways:
Early Voting - Information concerning dates and location can be obtained by calling the County Clerk's office at 970-824-9104.

 

By Mail - You may complete an application at this site and mail to the County Clerk's Office, or call and request that a mail-in ballot application be mailed to you. You must be registered to vote to receive an mail-in ballot!

The last day to vote early is the Friday immediately preceding the election. The last day to apply for an Absentee ballot to be mailed is the Tuesday immediately preceding the election.
